A team photo session for LinkedIn profiles in Spain usually costs between €150 and €750 in total. That is the usual range for corporate photography. Some photographers charge per person, and in that case profile portraits start from €55 per person. Others charge per session. There the average is around €275, with cases ranging from €80 to €450. There are also basic packages from €250, designed for a team session and for using the photos on the company's website and social media. Most professionals don't have a fixed rate that is the same for every client. That is why the final figure depends on how many people appear in the photos, how long the session lasts and what is delivered afterwards. A small team that only needs simple portraits for LinkedIn will be close to the lower end of those ranges.
What makes the price go up or down
The first thing that changes the price is how you are charged. When the charge is per person, each team member adds to the total. When the charge is by time, what counts is the hours. Hourly rates, between €60 and €180, suit jobs where it isn't clear how long the work will take or where there are several sessions. For a clearly defined job, such as a team session, a fixed price per project usually works out cheaper. There is almost always a minimum fee. It normally covers between one and two hours of work on location, and further services are added on from there. The number of photos also matters. A few headshots for a profile don't cost the same as a complete image bank. The aim of the session determines what equipment needs to be brought and how many hours of editing and retouching come afterwards. Extras push the bill up: make-up and hair, hiring a space, setting up a small studio with a backdrop and lights inside the office itself, or printing the photos. The time of day matters. Taking the photos at sunset, at night or at the weekend usually costs extra. Delivering the material in physical form, on a USB stick, in an album or as prints, is normally charged separately too. If you want photos of the office as well as the portraits, the price goes up. A shoot covering the premises and portraits of about three hours, including retouching, can come to around €550. The most complete packages range between €300 and €1800. And if the company also wants video, doing photography and video on the same day saves cost and time.

How to ask for a quote
So what now? Before asking for a quote, it's worth making a short list of what you need: how many people will appear, where the photos will be taken, whether it's just portraits for LinkedIn or also photos of the team at work, and when you need them by. With that list, any quote will be clearer and more accurate. Evan & Natalia Simon do photography and video for brands, companies and some weddings in Gijón, in Asturias and elsewhere in Spain and Europe. Writing to them with those details is an easy, no-obligation first step.
