Castiello de Selorio is a wedding palace in the council of Villaviciosa, on the coast of Asturias and a few kilometres from Gijón. It is the grand palace of Deloya Gastronomía: a traditional Asturian manor house surrounded by green meadows, deep in the countryside with the mountains close by. It has wide gardens for the drinks reception and an indoor hall for the banquet, decorated with plant-inspired motifs. The kitchen mixes classic Asturian dishes, market produce and signature recipes, with vegetarian, vegan and egg-and-dairy menus, as well as menus for coeliacs, allergies, diabetes and high blood pressure. The open bar is included in the menu. The banquet is served for 120 to 240 guests.
What the wedding is like at the palace
The whole day can happen in one place. There is a dedicated space for the civil ceremony, so you can marry and celebrate without moving anywhere. If you would rather have a religious ceremony, the palace arranges it in the church of Santa María at the Valdediós Monastery, a lovely corner of Asturias. Besides the hall and the gardens there is a terrace, a marquee, a dance floor, a children's area for the little ones, parking and a country house. The kitchen has room for the caterers, and the palace can take care of the whole organisation: music, transport, decoration and photography.

Getting started
The simplest way is to write to the palace with your date and the approximate number of guests; with those two details you will know straight away whether there is space. And if you would like to talk about photography and video for your wedding in Asturias, Evan & Natalia Simon work on a select number of weddings and also with companies and brands. A short, free call is a good way to get to know each other, with no commitment.
