Two cameras, two perspectives, one shared eye.

We're Evan and Nataly Simon — partners in life and in craft, photographing and filming since 2000.

Evan shoots, edits, and grades.

Nataly comes from craft.

Over the past five years we've worked extensively across Spain.

We're based in Asturias and available to travel anywhere in Spain or Europe.

How we see it

We believe great photography and video aren't about perfect technique.

Studio established above a cordage shop. First plates exposed.

Port of Gijón

MMXVI · Autumn

Commissioned by the Coastal Historical Society to photograph three decommissioned lighthouses.

Cantabrian Coast

MMXVIII · Winter

First solo exhibition — "Small Weather" — printed in platinum & palladium.

Oviedo

MMXX · Summer

Began work on the short film "Crossings"; carried equipment aboard the ferry Vinalhaven.

Ría de Ribadesella

MMXXII · Spring

Published a monograph of fourteen untitled plates, bound by hand in linen boards.

Elected to the Society of Maritime Illustrators; awarded the Finch Medal for moving picture.
